Michelle supports the growth and nurturing of the B Corp movement in her role as Advisor, Corporate Sustainability & B Corp.  She is responsible for BDC’s partnership with B Lab US & Canada as well as for B Corp outreach, education, and community-building.

Michelle has over 12 years of rich, varied experience in the sustainability field. Over the past 4 years, she has supported the growth of Canada’s B Corp movement by guiding and coaching entrepreneurs through the B Impact Assessment, managing a B Corp cohort program for entrepreneurs and supporting the growth of regional B Corp networks across Canada – notably in her home of Vancouver, where she serves as Chair of its B Local. She manages BDC’s partnership with B Lab US & Canada to help BDC provide resources, guidance, and collective action opportunities to strengthen the Canadian entrepreneurs’ sustainability practices.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys raising her daughter Valkyrie to become a future social impact entrepreneur and a fighter for all those whose voices remain unheard.
